Mike joined Oakwood in August 2019 from Weightmans LLP, where he was latterly the firm's Legal Counsel and a Partner in the Risk & Compliance team. With the exception of a seven-year spell as a Senior Lecturer in Business Law at the College of Law (now the University of Law), Mike was in private legal practice for over thirty years, with firms in London and Manchester, advising on the debt financing aspects of corporate and real estate transactions.
